The ESS-Bilbao Consortium, conscious of the important role industry can play in promoting Spain’s candidature, has developed a network of major companies called Industry Forum, made up of national and international businessmen who sign declarations of support for the Spanish candidature.
The Industry Forum’s main objective is to support the ESS-Bilbao project from a business angle and to make its members opinion leaders with regard to the project.
The backing of this group adds substance and immediacy to the Bilbao candidature thanks to the weight their support brings to an initiative of this magnitude.
The Industry Forum promotes constructive dialogue between companies and ESS-Bilbao Consortium on business issues related to the European Spallation Neutron Source. Members of the Industry Forum include leading international companies from a wide range of sectors, and it is open to businesses, trade bodies and other organizations. The common denominator shared by members is a strong commitment to science, technology and innovation.
The ESS-Bilbao Industry Forum is a means of coordinating businesses in the promotion of the ESS-Bilbao candidature through various activities.
